About Me

Hey there! I'm Russell Joseph Pier, a software developer based in Baton Rouge, LA. After graduating from Texas A&M with a Computer Engineering degree in 2018, I've spent the last 6+ years diving deep into web, mobile, and backend development. I'm particularly obsessed with React and have built everything from streaming apps to emergency mesh networks. I spent 3 years as a campus missionary at SMU in Dallas, where I worked to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by evangelizing to college students. I love solving tricky problems, mentoring teams, and creating beautiful, accessible tech that actually makes a difference for clients. I'm always up for a challenge!
